    The evening of March 6, the Big Sandy FFA chapter arrived in Conrad, MT. Here, we played games, such as basketball and volleyball, and reconnected with old friends. After spending the night in the gym, we attended in several different workshops, on March 7th, in the event of your choice. In Agronomy, some of the things we learned about was noxious weeds, agriculture issues, plant disorders, insects, soils, and grain grading.     John Deere Ag Expo was held in Bozeman at the Montana Stare University, on November 14th through the 16th. As one of the biggest events of the year, students from all across Montana can connect and reunite with others wearing the blue jacket. Over fifteen different events are put on that FFA members have opportunity to learn, study, and compete in. This year Big Sandy FFA brought 21 members.     This week we have had two successful FFA activities. At the Annual FFA Fall Barbeque on September 16th, the community was able to come help us kick off our year. We started with a potluck along with pulled-pork sandwiches. Next was a presentation on what FFA is and its opportunities. And to end the night we had a Labor Auction to raise money for the FFA members' travel funds which allows us to experience attend FFA events such as John Deere Ag days, State and National Convention.
