On Pearl Harbor Day, I was only 19 years of age. I had to register for the draft when I was 20 years old. I went out to Bremerton, Washington and worked in the Navy yards for about 7 or 8 months. It was good experience and soon made a believer out of me that I didn't want anything to do with the Navy.
