The annual Big Sandy Community 4th of July Celebration is back this year. It has been absent since 2018, it fell on a Thursday in 2019, and everyone was gone camping for the long weekend we did not have it, and then Covid hit last year, making it impossible to have it. The Big Sandy Public Library Summer Reading Program welcomed Scott Hemmer from the Fish Wildlife and Parks department as guest speaker to speak with the children about area wildlife. Mr. Hemmer is a Wildlife Biologist who does educational talks along the Hi-Line and to other communities in the area. The Big Sandy Swim Team placed second at the Cut Bank Swim Meet. This weekend marked the final time the senior boys relay team swam and won together. This phenomenal foursome has been a dominant force in the swim federation.
