The Pioneer track team had two track meets this past week. The first was the Cal Wearley track meet in Havre on Wednesday the 10th. This track meet was huge and lasted a long time (approximately 10 hours). There were 34 teams and 693 athletes, with 412 of them being males and 281 of them being females. There were 2000 entries. The Pioneer track team had their first meet this past week in Lewistown. There were 28 teams at this track meet, schools from all classes all across the state. Your Lady Pioneers are headed to STATE! Last Monday's challenge game was exciting, and these girls have earned their right to play in the state tournament. They played the Lady Bearcats of DGSG. The Lady Pioneers are off to Divisionals! They took a different path at Districts after a loss to Fort Benton, but they fought hard to the end and won the 3rd place game in overtime against Turner.
