    The Lady Pioneers headed into Districts this last weekend as the number two team. Things unfortunately didn't go the way they had wanted, but they are still heading to Divsionals! They first played Box Elder and won, then faced off against Fort Benton and lost, then on to Highwood, who they beat, and lastly faced Centerville, but also lost that game.     The Pioneer football team had a tough game in Chester this last weekend against CJI, losing 16-54, making it their first loss of the season. The Pioneers struggled with some missed tackles during the game as well as losing Sam Cox, Cooper Taylor and Karter Jurenka to injuries throughout the game.     This last week, the Lady Pioneer volleyball team played a very tough Lady Miner team in Big Sandy. Centerville ended up winning in 5 sets, but let me tell you, these Lady Pioneers are so much fun to watch. I love watching them because they show true heart.     The Lady Pioneers started the weekend off with a great win against Box Elder. Big Sandy started with the 1st serve and set the standard right from the beginning with an ace by Eva Yeadon.     This last Friday night was chili feed, and the Pioneer football team played the North Star Knights. The Pioneers ran away with the game-winning big, with a final score of 66-7.     Last week the Predictor said Big Sandy would lose. The Pioneer football team was supposed to have a “hard time beating” the Dutton-Brady Titans.     The Omoksee is always a family activity. It's interesting to watch. I had to ask why some horses ran faster, and others ran slower. I was told it really isn't a race. It's working to the horse's ability and the rider's ability. Sometimes the smaller children ride the horse while someone in front of the horse reins the horse.
