The Big Sandy Pioneer basketball season came to end at the District 9C tournament in Havre following a pair of losses by both the boys and girls teams.
Both teams faced the top seeded Box Elder Bears in their opening contest.
Box Elder defeated the girls by a score of 59-8 sending them into a loser out contest Friday morning. The girls were then defeated by the Chester-J-I Hawks, 56-28 ending their season.
The boys fell to Box Elder by a score of 112-21 in the opener and were defeated by the North Star Knights 97-12 in loser out action Thursday morning.
The girls finish the season 1-19 while the boys played hard but were winless at 0-20.
