An over view of this years Rotary Banquet

The 32nd annual Big Sandy Rotary Banquet was a huge success, thanks to you! Many wonderful prizes were awarded to many lucky winners. Among those winners were: Lianna and Jerry Olson winning the $3,000 grand prize, Austin and Raelynn Genereux with second prize of a Round Trip Ticket for Two in the continental US, the Coolest Cooler was the third prize, going to Andy and Peggy LaBuda. Jana Cruz won the fourth place prize, a Go Pro Camera. The Barbecue/Smoker for fifth prize went to Steve and Karen Roth. Sixth prize of a Garmin GPS went to the Oil Barn, John Gunhold took home the Fit Bit Blaze(seventh place prize), and Larry Myers was the winner of the Fire Pit, the eighth place prize. The ninth place prize, the Chrome Book, was awarded to Pam Gasvoda, and the tenth place prize, the Keurig 2.0, went to Tom and Kim Sheehy. Andy, Peggy and Pam also opted for the enhancement prize, new this year to the banquet, so they both won an extra $100 in Big Sandy Chamber Bucks.

The special raffle items were as follows: The Grand Door Prize, an oak TV console Fireplace, was won by Carl Knopp. The Heads and Tails Raffle for a Rotary ticket to the 2017 banquet went to Kelly Rutledge. Jodi Thornton took home the beautiful Bountiful Flower Basket quilt. The recliner went to Leah Griffin, and the Tilleman Motor hours of use on a Skidsteer went to Lockie Edwards. 50/50 winners were Jared Veilleux, Lenard Jappe, Larry Brumwell, Jennifer Dees, and Micki Morey.

Rotary is so thankful for the generous support we receive year after year. The banquet this year raised just over $20,000. Your contributions make it possible for many community and youth projects, including the new library and the upcoming Pioneer Little League.
