ELEMENTARY EXTRAVAGANZA slated for May 20

The Elementary Extravaganza, known in the past as the “Open House”, will be Friday, May 20th. Everyone is welcome to join all the fun happening from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the F.E. Miley Elementary School. The students and staff have prepared an awesome event aimed to lift your spirits!

The Kindergarten has been studying different kinds of weather and will be displaying those in our classroom for the Extravaganza. Each student has done a report on a different type of weather and Ms. Wolery said they will be ready to present it to the public.

Mrs. Anacker’s first graders will be reading a book “they” published!

Second grade has been an “OUT OF THIS WORLD” experience. Guess what is happening in Ms. Terry’s second grade classroom?

“Third Grade Happy Campers” will be showing their books they’ve written, sharing their book projects, their Tater Vocab and a fluency poem. Mrs. Moore, their teacher, welcomes everyone!

Once again Mrs. Keller’s 4th grade will feature Montana History for their Wax Museum. Please come and join us!

Mrs. Tone’s 5th grade class will take you through a wonderful visual of the Amazon Rain Forest. Watch for characters dressed as rain forest animals, paper mache statues, written poetry and research.

Are you interested in finding your next favorite novel? Visit the Sixth Grade to see 13 different book reviews, but these reviews are more than just writing. Ms. Peterson invites you to stop by their classroom to enjoy students’ creativity!

Ms. Olson and the Gifted and Talented students have done a 2015-16 Highlights Slideshow. You may view it in the gifted and talented classroom. There will also be projects on display and Digital Narratives by the 4-6th grade gifted and talented students.

Hope to see you!
