Chouteau County 4-H Youth Development Upcoming Events*

June 3, 2016 4-H Project/Demonstration Day (all ages)—an opportunity for youth to participate in hands-on activities while learning and experiencing project areas that help them discover new interests or advance in those they have already found. 4-H members also develop their communication and leadership skills by presenting demonstrations, speeches and illustrated talks.

June 6-8, 2016 4-H Junior Leadership Camp (age 13 and older), Saint Mary MT—includes fun interactive workshops and activities for developing and building lifelong relationships and leadership and team building skills with peers.

June 13 – 15, 2016 4-H Camp (minimum age of 9 through those who have completed 6th grade, at time of camp) Beaver Creek Camp Kiwanis—this camp is packed with a lot of hands-on activities, games and interactions to expose the campers to many different interests and information such as canoeing, archery, international foods and much more.

July 13-16, 2016 Montana 4-H Congress (age 13 and older as of 10/1/15) Montana State University, Bozeman MT—Youth from across the state have the opportunity to come together with peers to learn, be challenged and participate in contests, workshops, entertainment, social events and citizenship activities.

*Individual 4-H clubs may have opportunities in addition to what is listed above.
