The Big Sandy Pioneer Volleyball team began play this past Friday in Centerville and Saturday the girls were in Belt for their annual pre-season tournament.
The Miners defeated Big Sandy in straight sets Friday 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.
Saturday the girls split pool play matches with Centerville and the Belt JV going 0-2-2 in pool play. They fell in bracket play to Power.
