The 6th Annual Gun and Ammo Show in Big Sandy will take place on January 26th, 27th, and 28th. The Gun Show will be at the Jerry Martin Memorial Hall.
Vance and Jean Butler along with their son started the show six years ago because they thought "it was good for the community, because it gives everyone a chance to get a gun and some ammo." Vance said he, "enjoys visiting with old friends as well."
There will be 18 dealers from all around the state to sell their wares. Some of the dealers also appraise, buy and trade guns. Along with new guns and ammo there will be used and collectable guns, gun accessories, holsters, elk horn pistol grips, knives, archery and hunting related items, body armor and concealed carry wear.
Cost to get into the gun show is $5.00 and is good for all three days. They will have coffee, cookies and snacks available for everyone for free, but they appreciate donations.
Each year they give the donated money plus a share of the door to a worthy cause in the Big Sandy Community. This year they chose the Big Sandy Volunteer Fire Department because of the difficult fire-season this summer so generous donations will be appreciated.
There will be an opportunity to attend another gun show in Havre in mid-March. Kirkley and Stephanie Butler will be hosting the event.
