Brad Moore, after resigning as Big Sandy Superintendent last month, has a new job and challenge at MSU-Northern. His new position is Director of Student Support Services. His job is to help the students to succeed. There is a counselor, a tutor and an administrative assistant who will work with Brad to support and personalize an academic and career plan for students of MSU-Northern. They have a private computer lab and study area for any student in the program TRIO SSS Scholar.
Brad is completing his 25th year in education. 2017-18 is his fifth year as Superintendent of Big Sandy Schools. Prior to this position he was involved with education at Richey, Ekalaka, and Big Timber. He has received the following awards while serving as superintendent at Big Sandy: Sept. 2015- AASA Convention Incentive Award Winner and in May 2016- Hi-Line MASS Region Superintendent of the Year. He also served on the MUST Board from July 2012 to the
Present. He was Hi-Line Superintendents President from July 2013 to May 2016. Served as Hi-Line Superintendents VP/Sec May 2016 to the Present. Also served on the MQEC as a Board Member from July 2013 to the present. Here at our school he ushered in the four-day school week which most everyone loves. We appreciate his serve to our schools, to our kids, and to our town and are glad he will still be a member of our community. We wish him the best in his new challenge at MSU-Northern.
