Ronald J. Andrade, 64, passed away due to natural causes at his residence on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Cremation has taken place, and burial of Ron and Michelle's cremated remains will take place at a later date with their son Andrew in Sheridan, Wyoming. Memorial donations have been suggested to Andrade Memorial Benefit Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, Big Sandy, MT 59520, to help defray family expenses. Ron was born on June 2, 1954, in Palo Alto, CA, to Edward and Billie (Vinson) Andrade. He was raised in Huntington Beach, CA, graduating from Marina High School in 1972. Ron attended Golden West College for 2 years, graduating with a degree in recreational leadership. He moved to Sheridan, WY, where he attended Sheridan College, majoring in child psychology. It was there that Ron met Michelle Frith, and the couple married in Las Vegas. They had five children together. While in Wyoming, Ron and Michelle lived in Story and in Sheridan, and then moved to Conrad, MT, before settling in Big Sandy in 1997. There, Ron worked for Q's Restaurant and Pep's, as well as a couple of locations in Havre, as a cook. He worked for the Big Sandy Activity Center for a while, and his final job was at The Motel in Big Sandy.
Ron enjoyed reading, playing computer and video games, bowling, gardening, caring for his flowers, history, all sports, board games, and puzzles. He was a fabulous cook, and spent many years acting as umpire and referee for basketball, football, baseball, and wrestling. He not only bowled, but also acted as scorekeeper for the Thursday night bowling league while bowling for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Michelle Andrade; infant son Andrew Andrade; parents Edward and Billie Andrade; and brother Edward Andrade, Jr.
Ron is survived by his four children Amber Andrade of Denver, CO, Aaron (Gina) Andrade of Belgrade, MT, Aaryk Andrade of Big Sandy, MT, and Aizyk (Joy) Andrade of Savannah, OH; five grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Moes and Robert Andrade; and numerous nieces and nephews.
