Dolores Yeaple, age 90, of Prosser went with the angels in the comfort of her family by her side on July 21, 2019, at Prosser Memorial Hospital. She was born to Ralph and Dona Watkins on December 30, 1928, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dolores earned a Bachelor Science degree in Education with an emphasis in reading instruction. She spent many years teaching in Kansas, Montana, Wyoming and in Methow Valley, Washington, until her retirement.
Dolores was preceded in death by both her parents and husband, Dayton Yeaple and her two daughters, Rhee Ann Martinez and Doe Rene Supple. She is survived by four children, Vicki Sharer (Michael), Micki Morey (Dale), Nicki Sorensen (Keith), and Ricki Rhodes (Mary Jo); thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Dolores is also survived by two sisters, Patti Wendleton (Jack) and Sue Grussendorf (Mark) and her two best friends, Juanita Wright and Mary McHugh.
Dolores enjoyed fishing, camping, crafts, trips to the casinos and Alaska cruises with Juanita.
She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star and was Worthy Matron in the Twisp, Washington Chapter. She was a devoted Baptist.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Gates of the Mountains in Montana.
