Volleyball will celebrate Parent's Night, Friday, Oct.25

This Friday, October 25th, the Big Sandy volleyball team will be having their last home game of the season. Tradition will follow through and the team members will be announced and give flowers to their loved ones and supporters. The volleyball girls are both excited and sad about the season wrapping up; the senior girls are especially feeling bittersweet. The team will be playing against the Box Elder Bears. After losing their first game to them, they hope to come back stronger and take the win on their home court. Support from the community is really effective for girls. When they are faced to play in a loud gym and have people cheering them on, they perform better and get more excited about the game overall. The team has had an amazing season and are getting really excited for districts. With a new coach this year the girls were a little nervous about how the season would go, but they all were happy with the results. Brittany, this year’s volleyball coach, has consistently told the girls that they are a good team and they can and will be a great team. Brittany is happy with how much the girls have improved from the first time she saw them play. She loves their hard work ethic and is very excited to see the result of districts. The team will also be playing against CJI on Thursday, October 24th. For both nights, the junior varsity starts at 6:00 and varsity starts at 7:00. So, come and support your local volleyball girls at their last couple home games of 2019!
