Bambi was born on May 9, 1960, in Liberal, KS, to Jim and Lorene (Stewart) Carrell. She was raised in Little River, attending Little River and Haviland High Schools. Following graduation in 1978, Bambi married, and the couple had two daughters before divorcing. Later, Bambi met a kind, nice man who was working as a custom cutter in Little River. Shortly after, Wade and Bambi were married on Valentine's Day in 1985 and moved their family to Big Sandy, MT, where they raised their girls. She worked around town for a bit and for a while as a CNA for the Big Sandy Hospital.
Bambi was a loving woman who enjoyed fishing and crafting. She was a fantastic cook. However, her favorite pastime was her grandchildren, and she spent every moment with them that she could. She was also a sports enthusiast who deeply enjoyed watching her two daughters excel at their individual sporting endeavors, rarely missing a game/match.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lorene Carrell.
Bambi is survived by her husband, Wade Rice; daughters, Jennifer (Curl) Collison and Jessica Curl; five grandchildren; sisters, Dana Carrell, Jamie Kipp, and Kimberly MacBride; and numerous nieces and nephews.
