St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church Youth Group is Fundraising to go to Europe in 2022!

The youth group of St. Margaret Mary’s has been busy since the start of the Fall season with fundraising and planning for their upcoming trip to Europe! Accompanied by a few parents, their youth group instructor Judy Yirsa, and pastoral leader Fr. Joseph Tran, 9 local kids will be off to Portugal, Spain, and France to see some of the most unbelievable landmarks in Christendom! Aside from the rich spiritual experience they hope to obtain, the students are in for some incredibly fun days in dazzling ancient cities filled with castles, forts, towering cathedrals, and delicious food!

It is a colossal undertaking in terms of planning and fundraising, however, providing the kids with such a memorable adventure is worth it! Students are hoping to fundraise $2000 each to pay for their trip expenses. All adults will be covering their own costs. The trip will consist of 10 days, visiting many different cities, jam-packed with city tours, museums, and some much-needed leisure time to take in the sights at their own pace.

As of September, the youth group of St. Margaret Mary’s has been fundraising in conjunction with St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rocky Boy selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a 2021 CAN-AM Defender, in which five dollars from each ticket sold by a youth group student goes towards their trip expenses the rest of the ticket price goes directly to rebuilding the Church in Rocky Boy that was destroyed in a devastating fire in 2019.

The youth group is partnering yet again with St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rocky Boy selling fresh Take & Bake pizzas for Super Bowl weekend! The students of the youth group will be preparing 14-inch, pre-ordered pizzas on Saturday, February 6th at St. Margaret Mary’s parish hall available for pick-up that same afternoon in the same location. We invite you our family, friends, and neighbors to place orders for some delicious pizza that will contribute fully to the youth group’s trip of a lifetime! Patrons are welcome to use our website: https://st-mary-106009.square.site to order 6 different combinations of pizza. Also, those still interested in purchasing raffle tickets for the CAN-AM Defender may do so on the same website. Otherwise, you can order directly from any of the youth group students (Connor Cook, Hestin Cook, Ryan Tan, Carmen Tan, Loni Ophus, Jaesun Yirsa, James Yirsa, Jayton Ophus, and Harley LaBuda), Judy Yirsa, or Fr. Joseph Tran. Please see the flyer for more details.
