District results are finally in. Our JV mechanics team took 1st, with Hunter Moore placing first individually, Quinn Rodewald placing 7th, Darrell Sunchild 9th and Jayton Ophus 15th. Our Varsity mechanics team placed 2nd. Lance Rutledge once again took 1st individually, Cooper Taylor and Christian Winderl both tied for 8th, and Connor Sibra placed 12th. Both our JV and Varsity Agronomy teams placed 3rd. Angie Sant took 2nd individually followed by Jaycee Worrall who placed 4th, Amy Gasvoda who placed 12th and Mattie Gasvoda who placed 18th. A complete team is 4 individuals and in Junior Agronomy we only had two kids. Jenny Sant who placed 7th and Harley LaBuda who placed 10th but without a full team they still pulled off a 3rd place win. Lance Rutledge was the only kid from Big Sandy to participate in the Farm Business Management contest and he placed second. Super proud of all the kids. They are representing our community very well! Also thanks to all the volunteers who came down and helped. Jake Han, Jay Worrall, Bob Quinn, Mark Gasvoda, Kristy Rutledge, Ray Sibra, thanks for making time to help out.
