The Chouteau County Conservation District is pleased to announce the fourth annual Henry Nagamori Scholarship is open to graduating seniors in Chouteau County.
The intention of this scholarship is to promote the study of agriculture, natural resources and conservation, and the vocational trades that support it, such as farm and ranch management, diesel mechanics and welding, to name a few.
Scholarship information has been sent to Chouteau County high schools to be included in scholarship packets to reach students who would benefit from the financial assistance this scholarship would provide.
This year, the scholarship amount has been increased from $500 to $1,000, and the CCCD would like to encourage students who are furthering their education through collegiate or vocational institutions to apply.
The application process will close on March 31, 2022, with the winner chosen the following week at the April 5 board meeting.
The CCCD appreciates the dedication of all teachers, faculty and staff and looks forward to the opportunity to financially assist in the advancement of the education process.
