The Big Sandy Rotary Club’s annual benefit banquet, Pirates of the Prairie, is shaping up to be a night of fun and great entertainment on March 19, 2022. The Big Sandy Rotary club looks forward to its 37th successful banquet this year to help our community continue its positive outlook for great years to come.
The members of the Big Sandy Rotary Club are working hard to ensure a bright future for Big Sandy. Each one in their own way is shaping the future of our town. The members of the Big Sandy Rotary Club are: Harry Bold, Demra Brown, Maggie Cline, Carla Courtnage, Maryetta Engle, Kelly Haaland, Cami Hillis, Sheri Moore, Bob Nelson, Bob Quinn, Jeff Richter, Richard Roth, Scott Schwarzbach, Shaud Schwarzbach, Melanie Schwarzbach, Tom Sheehy, Layne Taylor, Amber Terry, Jodi Thornton, Rhonda Works, Dianna Webster and Judy Yirsa.
The Big Sandy Rotary Club is an active service organization in our community and has had a major influence on Big Sandy for more than a half a century. The Annual Rotary Banquet has been a part of the Rotary Club’s activities since 1984. The annual banquet is the Big Sandy Rotary Club’s means of supporting our community’s and school’s activities each year. Funds derived from the banquet each year supports many activities throughout the community that touches young and old alike. This year your Rotary Club is supporting the town’s new swimming pool project, upgrades to Sheehy Park, and many school activities.
The members of the Big Sandy Rotary Club invite everyone to join with them in a night of fun on March 19, 2022. Tickets are still $100.00 each, the same price they have always been. Each ticket is good for a prime rib dinner for two and eligibility to win a grand prize valued at $3,000.00 along with nine other big prizes. This year’s event will feature silent auction items, special raffle items, special drawings, games and door prizes that will be awarded throughout the evening.
Time is short, so it is important to make sure you get your ticket from any Rotarian, so you can join in the fun of the Pirates of the Prairie. This year the Rotary Club is sponsoring a costume contest for all of you Pirates of the Prairie with a $100 prize.
