Tables are now available to vendors for the Craft Show at the 2022 Christmas Stroll. Information on reserving tables is available at the AgriPrairie office in Big Sandy or by contacting Cassie Bahnmiller.
Table reservations opened last week after the organizers of the committee met to finalize details. Tables have quickly begun to fill up, with demand heightened primarily due to the fact that the sale has not taken place since 2019. The 2020 & 2021 strolls were cancelled due to Covid. Cassie Bahnmiller, who is heading up the organization of the sale this year, explained the details for potential vendors: “We have 41 tables available for vendors. There is an informational letter and also registration forms for people to pick up at AgriPrairie. Otherwise some were emailed out and some were snail-mailed out to people. We had to basically start over from scratch because there was issues in finding the vendor list from 2019.” Anyone who has been a vendor in the past and would like to do it again should reach out for registration materials. Vendors who need multiple tables will be able to rent more than one if needed. Each table costs $20 to rent for the day.
In addition to the 41 tables at the fire hall, 9 “overflow” tables may be available at the museum as well. The overflow space was first made available a few years ago when the craft show began outgrowing the Fire Hall downtown. The committee hopes to increase traffic to the overflow space this year by increasing the promotion and advertisement of the space.
Cassie indicated that tables for vendors with special needs, like proximity to outlets, are limited and will be made available on a first-come basis. “So we’ll try to do our best to accommodate those needs. But it might turn out that you don’t get that those specific things if your registration comes in later.”
Cassie indicated that in the days following the planning meeting, the first 10 tables have already been reserved. Those who are interested in getting a table for the show should act fast, as the demand seems to be high. She attributed the quick signup to the popularity of the Craft Show and the fact that the event has not taken place in several years.
“There will be setup on Friday night, from 5 to 7 and Saturday morning from 7 to 7:45. The actual hours of the craft show are Saturday, December 3 from 8 AM to 3 PM.” During the show itself, there will be an information table at the front, which will be manned by the organizers of the show for people who have any questions or issues during the event.
