Emmy and Grammy nominated Montana pianist-composer Phillip Aaberg visited Doug Giebel and the Big Sandy Cultural Center for sever hours on Monday. While here, Aaberg spent an hour trying out the Center's community grand piano. He really tested the piano's capabilities.
The internationally famous pianist was responsible for connecting Giebel with Yellowstone Pianos in Billings that found the excellent Yamaha Grand for Big Sandy community use.by students, teachers, visitors and anyone wanting to tickle its ivories.
On future visits, Aaberg hopes to hold his popular clinics for piano students and give an educational concert for our many young musicians at the Big Sandy Cultural Center.
