Kenneth Floyd Gay, 69, and his twin brother Kurt were born May 16, 1953, in Olympia, Washington. He met Lois (Chandler) Stamper in 1982 and were married in 1984. They lived in the Lower Puget Sound area until they moved to Big Sandy, Montana in 2005 where they lived until his passing May 1, 2023.
Ken was a man of many talents, working with concrete, driving a livery truck, and logging truck. He was a carpenter. He ran a portable sawmill with Alan McKenzie. He worked in the City of Fife as a civil engineering technician. He worked at Big Sandy Supply and then as head of maintenance for Big Sandy Schools. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and many fishing trips with his brother-in-law Glenn Ophus.
He is survived by his wife Lois, twin brother Kurt (Leslie), brothers Robert (Sharon) Terrance (Pam) and Randy (Tawnya) a stepbrother; Larry (Paula) and stepsister; JoAnn, step son Trevor (Chrissy) and step daughter Heather. Step granddaughters: Cortlyn and Rowan, brother-in-law and sister- in- law: Glenn and Linda Ophus, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
