Big Sandy Pioneers Roll over Heart Butte in first home game 75-0

It was a one-sided game that the Pioneers won by 75-0 allowing everyone to play

The Pioneer football dominated from the beginning of the game, scoring by way of a touchdown via Cooper Taylor in the first 45 seconds of the game. Followed by another Cooper touchdown at the 8:50 mark on the clock, and with a Ty Terry kick, put the Pioneers on the board up 16-0. The Pioneer's defense showed up and put in that work, keeping Heart Butte from getting down the field. The Pioneers got a safety, putting them up 18-0. Heart Butte then kicks to the Pioneers and Cooper scores another touchdown on the return, with another good kick from Ty, the Pioneers were up early with a score of 26-0. Great tackles by Wes and Sam Cox, and Cooper, kept Heart Butter from moving up the field. Heart Butte tried to put a good run on the Pioneers, but the defense helped them, and Heart Butte had another turnover on downs. The Pioneers ended the first quarter with a toss to Cooper who threw to Lane Demontiney for a touchdown, putting the Pioneers up after the 1st quarter with a score of 32-0.

The 2nd quarter started with a great pass from Jake Darlington to Lane for a Pioneer touchdown, and another good kick from Ty put the Pioneers up 40-0. A quick defensive play by Lane with a pick-six, put them up 46-0. So many great plays defensively from the Pioneers in the 2nd quarter from Warren Hartley, Karter Jurenka, and Vesuvio Reid. Cooper also got a pick-six on defense, followed by a good kick from Ty, which put the Pioneers up 53-0. Karter Jurenka also ended the half with a punt return for a touchdown, and another good kick from Ty, put the Pioneers up 61-0 at the half.

To start the second half the clock stayed running, and Heart Butte had possession of the ball for most of the 3rd quarter. The Pioneers had great tackles from Eyon Sherburn, Christian Winderl, Warren, Karter, and Wes. Eyon also scored a touchdown in the 3rd quarter putting the Pioneers up 67-0 going into the 4th quarter.

The Pioneers finished the game strong with great tackles from Eyon, Karter, Warren, and Quinn Rodewald. A nice run by Quinn, and a nice pitch from Karter to Jaxon Jones for a touchdown. Ty finished strong with another good kick, ending the game for the Pioneers with a final score of 75-0.
