Kyle Rodewald, head coach of the Big Sandy Pioneer wrestling team, wrote, "Coach Taylor, Coach LeFurgey, and I are all very pleased with how our wrestlers have been wrestling. Our team has gone back-to-back weekends, placing every wrestler, both girls and boys, on both weekends. This past weekend in Glasgow, our boys' team did extremely well. They were 12th overall out of 27 teams but 4th out of Easter B/C Divisional teams. We were 1.5 team points behind both Colstrip and Glasgow, who were tied for 2nd/3rd."
"This week ahead will have us preparing for our biggest tournament of the year behind the state Tournament with the CMR Classic in Great Falls. This is an all-Class Tournament of AA to C schools from across the state."
"Our kids are well prepared already, and the focus this week will be on polishing skills and working on mindset and focus."
Tucker Taylor added, "Kids wrestled strong. We still have a lot of work to do, but we are definitely on the right track. Quinn wrestled extremely well en route to winning the championship."
