What are you doing with the Mountaineer? I’m often asked what’s happening. I am going to try my best to get more ads in the next two months. I honestly believe the Mountaineer is an important tool to help everyone in town stay connected. It’s not just a paper; it’s a living record of our history, over a hundred years. I don’t want to sell it or close the doors, and I will be working diligently to ensure I don’t have to.
However, this paper isn’t just mine, or the town of Big Sandy, it is something I gave to the Lord to use. I will do my best, but ultimately the decision will boil down to bringing in more ads to support the business. By giving it to the Lord, I am committed to making decisions that align with our community, and I believe that the Lord guides me in this process.
