The Choteau County Fair in Fort Benton is coming up this month Aug 15-18. Its going to be a long but fun week. There will be fair rides, a derby, tractor pulls and the livestock auction. Every day during the fair the 4-H kids from all over Chouteau County will be showing off all of our hard work with projects. There will be rabbits, pigs, cows, sheep, goats and dogs. Some kids will have sewing, welding, wood working, photos, and baking projects just to name a few. I will be taking a black angus steer named George that I raised. The market pig, goat and sheep projects will be shown and judged on Thursday, August 15th. Friday the 16th, come watch all of the beef projects be shown and the new working stockdog project. My sister is even showing for the first time this year. She has a pig named Rosie and goats named Sprinkles and Brownie. I invite you to come out and support all of the 4-H and FFA kids doing some cool stuff. Come down on Sunday the 18th for the Livestock Auction where all of us will be selling our projects. We are excited to sell our animals but sad to see them go. We look forward to seeing you there!
