Christmas Stroll vendor show, Saturday, December 7

Christmas is about gifts, following the giving of gifts by the wise man. The Vendor fair at city hall all day Saturday during the Christmas stroll is a perfect time to keep some of our money in our community. Spend your money here and support the community. It’s the perfect day to buy all your gifts from the vendors or certificates from local businesses.

I was given the following list of local vendors working for months to get things ready to help you find your gifts for the season. It includes Glenn Braun Jewelry, which I love! Crafty Peacock Stickers- water bottles, etc.- and Karma’s Chocolate Candies have become traditional purchases. Reggie Jape and Twila Cline are both professionals when it comes to quilting. Sarah Drga loves her goats and makes a Lotion out of goat milk. Williams, Lee Ann, and Girls have a business called The Ladybug Shop, which makes spa, beauty, and personal care products. Shiver Brains, a local youth band, has posters & shirts for sale. The Methodist women always have a table. There will be Vinny’s Fine Foods gourmet popcorn, Cassie’s Krispies gourmet Rice Krispies, Donita Darlington freeze-dried foods, and misc items. Lost Arrow Designs, Faith Gasvoda, and Prairie Twister, with jewelry and t-shirts, will have tables as well. Tilleman Motor is handling out freebies. Magan and Haley Brown have a growing business, making a product for your skin that is getting good reviews. Sarah Shaw, Sophie Reichelt, and Rene Brown have tables too. Judy Yirsa will have soup, lefse, hot cocoa, and four raffle baskets supporting the trip for catholic youth.

The Vendor Fair starts at 10:00, goes till 4:00, and is located at the city hall.

I also suggest buying gift certificates at the Mint, the Club, and Pep’s. The Bakery will bake anything you want baked. I’ve used her a number of times. It’s always delicious. And any woman would love a gift certificate at Hair I Am and Blushing Willow Salon. Open a savings account for a grandchild at First Bank. During these difficult times, a gift certificate from Ezzie’s or The Grocery Store might be your best gift. And remember the Flower Shop. I love going there and finding gifts because she has a nice variety of items.
