The second week of advent is peace. When Jesus was born in Luke, it says. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” So peace was mentioned immediately after He was born! Isaiah 9:6 says Jesus is the Prince of Peace. This is 700 years before Jesus was born. Perfect peace is possible through Jesus. This Christmas lean into Jesus.

December 11---Romans 12:18: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
December 12--Romans 14:19: “Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification”
December 13--Ephesians 4:2-3: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
December 14--John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.”
December 15--John 16:33: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”
December 16--Matthew 5:9: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.”
December 17--Psalms 34:15: “Seek peace and pursue it.”
