Quinn Pegar has started the perfect business for the New Year! She has taken over running LIFT Fitness and loves helping people be healthier! She has changed the name by adding "with Quinn."
Quinn has six certificates. She told me, "I am a certified personal trainer and a group exercise instructor. These two certificates will be the most I use in the business. My third one is online coaching. They can have six-week programs with me. I work in strength and conditioning. This would be more like students involved in sports. I'm a nutritionist because that can always help me as a personal trainer." It will help everyone. "The last one is like a specialty. I did this mostly to help my back. I'm a glute specialist. I did it for my sciatic nerve. So, if you ask, "What can I help strengthen my back?" Talk to Quinn.
In December, she just listened to the people, asking what they wanted from her. She will sign up for full memberships and hour-long group exercises in January. She is not CrossFit certified. "I need to find an instructor for people who want to do CrossFit. It's not my style. I don't want to hate on CrossFit at all. I watched those people work out, and they are absolutely amazing. I am mostly in preventative care.
"My Online Business is Sagebrush Fitness." You can do an online version if needed; she can help you with it. "I build a program for them, either six weeks, eight weeks, or 12 weeks, and it includes a lot of nutrition information. I record a how-to video, like how to do the workouts of each week." That's where she is mostly in her spare time: "I'm staring at a computer building programs for people."
She is working on a health program that combines low-impact exercise and nutrition. Just exercising and eating right can help with all kinds of health-related issues.
Call her. She wants to work with people, even if it means opening up at 4:30 a.m. or 11 p.m.
Quinn's mission is to sell confidence. She wants to build people's confidence and help them feel more positive about themselves. Her real drive is in preventative care, and she's dedicated to empowering her clients to take control of their health and well-being.
She's been where many of us have been, struggling with weight and health. Starting her business is a continuation of her own personal story. When she began, she did it wrong. "I've lost over 40 pounds," she shared. Many can relate to her experience of initially losing weight in an unhealthy way and then learning the importance of nutrition through exercise.
She dreams of having kids' programs. I would love to keep them active, a week-long program for grade school kids. She would also like to work with high school students, especially those who want to improve their abilities playing sports.
Quinn graduated from Big Sandy High School in 2013. She was one of 13 students in her class. Big Sandy is her home, and she is passionate about helping people get healthy.
