Track Season has begun, with a small but promising start

The track season is officially underway. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for our Pioneers.

It’s springtime, and you know what that means! It’s track season! The Pioneers tracksters had their first meet this past weekend, but due to the school ski trip, not many athletes attended the first meet. The meet was in Cut Bank, and 16 teams were there (including Big Sandy).

This is a reminder for those new to reading the track articles that I will only ever share the top 10 places and a PR (personal record) for all athletes. However, since this is the first track meet of the year, I will share all results for those who were at the track meet.

Wendy Taylor, Head Coach of the Big Sandy Pioneers, said the day was cold and windy, but our team showed remarkable resilience, working hard and achieving good results despite the challenging conditions.
