William (Bill) Edwards,76, left this world on July 25, 2024 in Eugene, Oregon. He was born January 27, 1948 in Tekoa, Washington. He lived with his parents, Bill and Jess Edwards, until his graduation from Tekoa High School in 1966. He attended North Idaho Community College and then Eastern Washington University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. After that he attended Washington State University where he received his Masters Degree in Physical Education and School Administration.
As a teacher, Principal, Superintendent, Coach and referee, he touched the lives of countless students, athletes, parents, teachers, staff and community members until his retirement after 38 years of dedication.
Bill meet his wife, Susan Emig, in 1966 and they were married in 1969. They were blessed with three beautiful daughters and 9 grandchildren. Bill was a loving devoted husband for almost 55 years, father for 51 years and grandfather for 27 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jess, brother Gerald and grandson Oscar. Bill was survived by his wife Susan, sister-in law Kristi, daughters- Stacey, Sandie, and Wendi, grandchildren- Levi, Tristen, Stella, Silas, Sage, Hardy, Anais, and Ezra, niece Becky Richards and nephew Jerry Edwards as well as many great nieces and nephews.
A life that touches others lives on forever.
